The LCP sandwich set consists of a base glass slide and an optimized cover slip. This product has been developed jointly with the renowned Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, California, USA.

Bottom slide:
- dimensions: approx 127.8x85.5x1 mm
- with superhydrophobic glass surface
- covered with a 0.2 mm high spacer. This spacer has 96 recesses of 5mm diameter. They are consistent with the SBS format for robotic handling. The spacer has an adhesive surface to which the hydrophobic coverslip attaches. The crystallization drops are, hence, sealed in these reaction chambers.
Cover slip:
- optimized for bright field, UV and fluorescent microscopy
- dimensions: approx 112x77 mm, thickness No. 1.5 (0.16 - 0.19 mm)
- with superhydrophobic glass surface

Coverslip lifter |

Cover glasses and microscope slides can be handled easily and conveniently with the Marienfeld Superior coverslip lifter. Sensitive glass plates can be taken gently and are hold securely by the vacuum cup. Furthermore, thanks to its elastic materials the coverslip lifter allows scratch-free work and treats the glass surface with utmost caution.
The Marienfeld Superior coverslip lifter is also a handy device for embedding preparations manually: the coverslips can be positioned securely on the embedding material without causing bubbles.

Counting chambers with V-slash |

A V-slash at the exterior edge of the chamber bottom facilitates the feeding of the capillary gaps between cover glass and chamber bottom and also reduces the risk of overflow.

Urine cups made of polypropylene with a capacity of 125 ml and 200 ml with the corresponding snap lids with and without spout. Both cups and lids have a marking field. The beakers are provided with a scale.
Stool containers are available with the capacities 13 ml, 15 ml and 30 ml. They have an overlapping screw cap and are offered with mounted spoon.

Microscope slide boxes made of polypropylene |

This stackable, recyclable microscope slide box offers you many advantages compared to other slide boxes. It is made of durable and rigid black polypropylene. Securely closing clasps and stable band hinges offer you maximum security for your preparations.
The numbered slots are designed for easy taking out of the slides by means of inclination. The numeration of the slots is perfectly visible even if the box is completely filled. The box accomodates 100 slides of the standard size 76x26 mm.

ACHEMA 2009 |
We have been very happy to welcome again many of our customers at Achema 2009 (11th to 15th May 2009 in Frankfurt/Main). Clients from more than 50 countries visited our booth. We had a lot of interesting business talks and enjoyed the time we spent with our customers.
A brilliant wizard, Christian Fontagnier, entertained our guests at our Dinner Party and our customers had the opportunity to meet and get into contact with each other. We had a good time and hope to see our clients soon again.

High precision cover glasses |
Microscope cover glasses for high performance microscopes, characterized by the accurate thickness of 0.170 mm ± 0.005 mm, are produced from chemically resistant borosilicate glass of the first hydrolytic class.
