The laboratory porcelain has a low thermal expansion coefficient and, therefore, a high resistance against thermal shocks. Because of its high mechanical solidity it is resistant against all kinds of chemical influences.

max. operating temperature: glazed 1100 °C, unglazed 1350 °C  
acid resistance: 99.99 %    
alkali resistance: 99.96 %    
water absorption: 0 %
